I think it would be spectacular if you could import senteo questions into the multiple choice tools for the Lesson Activity Toolkit!  This would enable me to review certain concepts in a slightly different way.

I also would like to see the ability to copy and paste text into the flash tools in toolkit.

Copy and paste into the flash will not work for the foreseable future so instead you can just drag the text in which is actually even fewer steps than copy and pasting. Just highlight the text and drag it over the boxes. There is a video showing this here.

    Joe

I had a comment from a teacher on a session I ran the other week thats worth passing on... Is there a way of making these interactive boxes cope with Subscript and Superscript text. As a science teacher I can see the problem in not being able to put in proper chemical symbols - or even mathematical units such as cm3 and m2.

I'm guessing this isn't possible now, but could it be considered for a future release?

Hi Danny, That's a popular request. At present this is a restriction with the text input of flash. We are looking at workarounds for this and hope we will be able to offer this at some point in the future. Some work arounds are using the image tools and dragging in text to those since it treats it as an image and will work, but we understand that there are currently only a limited number of image accessible tools and activities. Hi!

I would love a balloon that does NOT pop which appears just like the Pop balloon.

I would like to use it to create a lesson . If a student chooses an incorrect answer the baloon would not pop!

I use 10-sided dice for reinforcement of place value.  Right now I have 3 different colored dice - one for ones, tens, and hundreds.  Is there anyway to change the color of the 10-sided dice and also change what is on each face? (i.e. 10, 20, 30, etc. for the tens dice)

Lola, could you explain what you expect to happen with your balloon? With the current balloon if it didn't pop to reveal what was behind it it would just be a static balloon that did nothing so this clearly isn't what you expected, but what would the action ideally do for you?

dschuyler - at present it is not possible to change whats on the 10 sided dice. We'll bare your request in mind

    Thanks

    Hi Joe,

I envision creating an activity where I have No writing behind the balloons.

    For Example.

I would type a question and then offer two choices for an answer.

I would use the ballon pop to elimanate the wrong answer.the remaining baloon would be static.

(It would look the same, so that the students could not recognize the difference .)

Additionally, I love the text splitter.

Can you make one that would work with numbers so that teachers typing math sentences could use it as well.

    Thanks.

So do you mean you want a toggle that says whether it would burst or not?

I really enjoy the "hot spots" game in the toolkit, but I wish it would randomly ask for the hot spots (instead of always asking for them in the same order they were entered.)

The toolkit was a helpful addition to Notebook.  Keep up the great work!

    Lola,

Well in that case you can already achieve that result. All you need to do is draw a square over any of the balloons you don't want to pop. Make sure the square has a color fill, doesn't matter what color. Then select the square and make it completely transparent - go to properties/fill style. Then lock it in place.

Now if you select that balloon, instead it will select the transparent mask, but the balloons you want to pop will pop because you actually press them.

The image below shows the steps briefly

Let me know if you get it to work
